Tattoo furniture is expensive.
This is not a secret to any one in the market for tattoo chairs, lounge furniture, and other types of tattoo furniture used in parlors and tattooing shops. However, you don’t always have to pay full price for such items if you have the luxury of being able to afford the time to find a good deal on used tattoo furniture.
And finding a good deal is exactly what we want to look for in this article on buying used tattoo furniture.
The first place is the most direct place to look – your local tattoo shops. It’s highly possible that they have extra tattoo furniture, like a good used tattoo chair either in storage or in use that they would be willing to sell. If you’re in cahoots with the local shops, you might even be able to strike a good deal, despite being essentially another competitor! (The tattoo industry looks out for one another very nicely compared to most other types of businesses.) It can’t hurt to ask!
Looking online for a deal is also an obvious way to make out with saving heaps of money on tattoo chairs and other needed furniture. Sites like Craiglist, Ebay, Amazon, and even tattoo furniture shops with an online only presence make for 4 great places to strike a deal. The worst part about buying online? You usually can’t inspect the tattoo furniture beforehand.
That’s why another tip is to always check out the items first hand when possible. Using Craigslist, this is easy, as the – seller will nearly always be local -and if not, they’re probably a scam artist, so avoid non local sellers! When using Ebay and Amazon, you do have the option to look at sellers within a certain zip code. If you live in a bigger city this tip will work very well for finding local sellers with used tattoo furniture.
And finally, another tip for buying it in person is you won’t pay for the shipping charges! Who wants to find a great deal at 50% off only to be cheated by inflated shipping charges? When it comes to items as big as tattoo chairs and couches, you certainly don’t want the extra expense of shipping and handling.
