Things to do in Turkey

There are actually lots of things to do in Turkey. You may have heard of stories about traveling in the land, but there are a few things that you cannot miss out on once you are in Turkey.

Shore Excursions and Cruises: If you are planning to go on a cruise along the Turquoise Coast, the cruise will cover some of the principal ports and cities and the capital of Istanbul. The stories regarding traveling will tell you about plenty of tourist attractions being located within the reach of the sea. You can for instance visit the ancient city Perge with its superbly preserved Aspendos Theater and the momentous Kaleici District. Visit the Ephesus which is one of the most ancient cities of the eastern Mediterranean region.

Resorts: Turkey abounds in resorts and beachside resorts. Mention should be made of the Villa Florya Beach Resort located along the Turquoise Coast as well as the Hillside Beach Club that is situated just outside Fethiye. With so many things to be done in Turkey, you should not miss out on the principal cities of Bodrum and Antalya which offer the traveler ample options for water sports and other facilities. Other resorts offer spa and hot springs as well.

Cruises along the Bosporus: Contrary to what a lot of people believe, the Bosporus is not a river; it is a strait dividing Europe from Asia, and splits Istanbul the capital city into half. A lot of the attractions of the city are located along the coast of Istanbul as you must have heard in the tales about traveling Turkey. You may also take a pleasure ride on the river cruises, ferries and water taxis exploring the sights of the city. The lunch, dinner and breakfast guided trips are also included to see the city illuminated.
