There’s Always One In Every Neighbourhood

We have one, and I’m sure you have one where you live as well.  There’s always someone in every neighbourhood that goes completely overboard when it comes to decorating their home for Halloween.  And, when I say overboard, I mean that in a good way.  They have the kind of house that every kid in the neighbourhood wants to visit, but is terrified to do so once they get to the edge of the driveway.  They have all kinds of store bought and homemade Halloween decorations.  While there’s not doubt that the variety and creativity of store bought decorations is way better then it was when I was a kid, there’s still something to be said when it comes to making up your own stuff.

I have a buddy whose big on this kind of stuff.  He doesn’t live in my neighbourhood, and I’ve never seen his house on Halloween, but it’s  “THE” place to visit in his ‘hood.  He does stuff like making the gravestones with names of all the people he knows in the neighbourhood.  While that may seem a little creepy, it’s also something all the kids and parents seem to enjoy.  Sure, it seems spooky at first, but you can be sure that it’s the place everyone talks about once they’re back home counting all their goodies.
