Vessel sinks come in a number of shapes and colors. These sinks are great for stylish bathrooms and for use in other areas of the home as well. If you are in the middle of remodeling your bathroom then this is the perfect choice for you. The vessel sinks usually are installed on the top of the counter top in your bathroom and have a specific faucet that is used when installing the vessel sink. The faucets that are designed for these bathroom sinks are much taller than the standard sinks and this is because the height of the sink requires that a specific faucet be used.
Since most bathrooms are starting to have these style of sinks rather than the standard porcelain sink because of the sleek and stylish design that these sinks offer to the homeowner. The sink has a versatility to it that allows it to be used in a number of different styles in the bathroom. If you are considering purchasing a vessel sink then you should first look at the cabinets that you are wanting to place in your bathroom. Some vessel sinks are larger than others and therefore may need to have a larger cabinet.
When looking at the vessel sinks you will want to consider which shape is best for your bathroom as well. There are some sinks that are round as a bowl shape and then others are in the shape of a square. There are some other shapes available as well. Some of the other shapes look like a flower when its blossoming. These shapes are nice and make your bathroom look that much more unique. There are multiple colors that these sinks come in and can start out as one color on the bottom and as the color comes up the sides it will change colors to another color at the top of the sink.
Keep in mind that these sinks do not have a overflow either and you will need to watch the sink when it is on to be sure that it will not overflow on to the bathroom floor. There are pros and cons to this stylish new trend however the pros will win every time.
