Any fan of Kollywood films knows a few Tamil movie icons. Asin is a beautiful Tamil actress who shows much talent and promise in all of her work. She is a young, rising star who has been enchanting movie audiences since day one.

Young or old, famous film icons can be seen in every film you look. Every Tamil movie employs only the best acting talents that Kollywood has to offer. Kamal Hassan, for one, is a clear favorite in Tamil performers. He is an actor of exceptional talent, using his skills to act, create, and direct whenever he sees fit. Today, Kamal Hassan is the epitome of India’s movie icons, as he shows his skills in so many ways, while making sure that the audience knows his name and loves him. The Tamil movie industry proves to be just as competitive as the rest of the film industry, keeping its actors and actresses young and skilled in every aspect.

India’s movie industry also put a tag on each Tamil actress and actor that proves that they can attract a crowd and increase revenue, despite the critical reception of the film that they play in. That tag is “minimum guarantee”. It does not sound particularly noteworthy, but it is reserved for such Tamil movie icons as Joseph Vijay and Dhanush. This term is applied to them because their presence has caused top-grossing box office kollywood films time and again, even if the story did not enrapture the audience as it should. This shows that Kollywood is filled with perfectionist movie icons, who keep the audience fascinated just by their exceptional acting skills. We can only hope that the icons keep popping up year by year, decade by decade, and keeping this unqiue movie industry alive as ever and buidling base for future films stars to learn from this greats.
