The Nikon Coolpix L22 digital camera is the second digital camera from the bottom of the Nikon Coolpix digital camera lineup but don’t let the somewhat limited feature set compared to other more feature rich and expensive digital cameras fool you. Gorgeous 16×20 poster sized prints are available from this small and compact digital camera that’s easy to use right out of the box.
The poster sized prints possible with the Nikon Coolpix L22 is due in part to the 12 megapixels of resolution – that’s the same resolution as their flagship digital cameras such as the Nikon D3. Granted the Nikon D3 is aimed at the professional photographer and offers much more features and customizations, but the sensor size is the same on the Nikon L22. In short, the Nikon Coolpix L22 offers more than enough megapixels for great looking prints
The zoom lens on the Nikon Coolpix L22 offers a range of approx 28mm to 100mm in length due to the 3.6x zoom ratio and using the dual mode image stabiliation that is built into the zoom lens on the Nikon L22, you can be sure to achieve great looking photos that are sharp and free from blur. Using the built in image stabilization on this small nikon allows you to shoot in low light situations that lesser digital cameras would have a hard time shooting sharp photos due to low shutter speeds.
