When time comes for you to select a bikini shaver or an electric shaver, it can be a very tricky process. Your first job is to determine what the main use of the shaver will be. If frequent shaving of the legs and underarms is the only thing that the shaver will be used for, then just about any shaver will suit your needs. If all you need to do is shave the bikini area, a shaver dedicated to men, may not be the best choice.
There are lots of inexpensive electric razors available, and with normal use, they should last you a long time. One of the features that should be considered is the ability to use the shaver while in the shower or bathtub – wet dry electric shavers can be a real bonus, and if it is cordless, this is definitely a plus as well. Some may prefer to use a men’s shaver just because they have been out on the market longer than those for women.
Check out the battery life because this will make a difference in the price – a longer battery life will generally cost you more money. Many shavers have numerous accessories and gadgets that will enhance the experience, but again these will generally add to the cost.
One of the best ways to find a cheap bikini shaver, is to do some comparison shopping – many of the comparison sites publish bikini shaver reviews, which is a great way to check out if they have the features you are looking for.
If sensitive skin is a problem for you, then only look for those that are tailored to individuals with certain skin conditions. Some shavers now come with moisturizers or special ointments that can be placed on the skin to protect it from the blades.
One word of caution, for health reasons it’s not recommended to use a bikini shaver, or any electric shaver, that have been previously used by someone else – it is always wiser to buy new. It’s a relatively easy job to find a shaver that meets your needs, all chain stores or drug stores carry a large selection of shavers – and if that doesn’t work, you can always try to Internet.
