Infestations of pests and fleas inside the house can be a very problematic thing. Now, if you’re house is slowly being filled up with fleas however; you don’t have the money to afford a professional exterminator, you might as well use a flea bomb. Flea bombs can easily be purchased from different local hardware stores near you. On the other hand, you can also buy these from pet stores in your area.

Flea bombs are also referred to as flea foggers. They are made with different chemicals that are contained in a spray can. When using flea bombs, you need to do some careful planning if you want to successfully exterminate the fleas inside your house. The first thing that you need to do is to take some measurements of the square footage of each of your rooms inside the house. After you write down the values, be sure to add them up. The total that you’re going to come up with will serve as a basis as to how many flea bombs you’re going to need. Each of these spray cans is usually made to cater to a particular area, so be sure to buy enough of these so that you can do the exterminating job effectively.

After the measurements, you may now proceed to sealing off your food items and dishes from the insecticide chemicals that will come from the flea bombs by using tape. Be sure to tape your cabinets, refrigerator, and cupboards. In addition to this, you also need to remove other food items and dishes from your house. Furniture pieces also need to be separated. Remove your loose carpets as well.

Take your pet accessories such as bird cages, litter boxes, and aquariums outside the house as well. Moreover, be sure to put out any gas appliances with pilot lights as well. Lastly, turn off the power for your house so there won’t be any sparks during the process.
