Cheap Red Wedding Centerpieces

There are many little embellishments that will add a lot of flair to wedding centerpieces for very little cost. Ribbons, lace, or beaded strings, tied to or hanging from the arrangements are a nice touch. Making use of things already sitting around the house as bases like old martini glasses, wine goblets or champagne flutes is a great way to create cheap wedding centerpieces. Those jars and tins being saved because they might come in handy for something one of these days? Well, here’s their chance to shine. Fill transparent jars with colored sand or spray paint dull tins with metallic colors. Bases could also be decoupaged with scraps of paper and fabric.

Balloons would make a nice addition to most wedding centerpieces, giving the illusion that it is a taller piece, but with the right length of string, won’t obscure your guests from seeing each other. Living in or visiting an area that is not completely urban is a good opportunity to take a nature walk and collect smooth pebbles, seashells, and delicate branches for a wedding centerpiece arrangement. your wedding is scheduled on or near a holiday, throw in some holiday decorations as well. If the wedding is near valentine’s day or love is the them and emotion being conveyed, red centerpieces are a great way to go.

If there is still a concern about going over budget, don’t forget about the local thrift store, dollar store, flea markets, online auctions and wholesale craft sites. A little thought and imagination can produce a multitude of stunning, unique centerpieces that no one would suspect cost only a few dollars each.

If the wedding is going to have a more laid back vibe, opt for cupcakes rather than a large cake. Each table could include tiers of gorgeous and delicious cupcakes. Can’t envision cupcakes replacing the cake? Each table could showcase a mini version of your larger model.
