Black or Hot Pink Digital Camera – What Would you Decide?

Posted on February 19, 2010 | Category: Cameras

Early instant cameras were big and bulky, though relatively quick to develop a printed image. In minutes, you would have the image in your hands. It was an inexpensive way to get pictures developed, and we all loved the instant gratification. Many people put up with the bulky size for the ability to have pictures in hand right away, but the quality was poor. The instant film slowly became a thing of the past and eventually these larger cameras were replaced by smaller versions that were easily portable. Though you did not get to see what you caught on film right away, not having to put up with a neck ache was worth the delay in film development. It was not long before society was pushing for a solution to be able to see the photo instantly, and eventually the digital camera was born.

With the introduction of digital cameras, we were able to see right away, what our picture looked like. You knew whether to take another shot before the pose was broken up. You also were able to pick your photos, saving both money and ink, getting just what you wanted. It was pricey, but once again well worth it when you considered how quickly you were able to see your shot. Since the release of the early digital camera, costs have come down dramatically. It seems everyone now has a black, purple, or hot pink digital camera hanging from a belt or stuffed in their pocket.

Spending fifteen cents to develop your favorite shots makes memories easy on the pocketbook and photographer alike, knowing that you only paid for the shots you wanted. The beauty of the new method of developing is that it can be done at home, without a special dark room and expensive equipment. Printers can print photos that rival professionally produced shots. Individuals can now enjoy the photos they want, when they want them.
