Is it a good idea to buy a hand juicer to make my own juice? I hear this question many times amongst people who wish to be prepared for all possible events. Many call themselves survivalists, others simply like to be prepared for whatever happens, just like the old boy scout slogan.
It’s definitely worth having a juicer if you are wanting to be prepared for all possible circumstances. With a juicer you can extract the health-giving and vitamin-and-mineral-containing liquid from any fruit or vegetable, thus giving you a fast and easy way to keep up your intake of essential nutrients. That can only be a good thing if you are after tools to help you survive in a potential crisis, whether that be an environmental crisis, a political crisis or even as they say, the end of the world as we know it…
A hand juicer is definitely the tool of choice, then, for the person who wants to make fresh juice in times of trouble. Consider that if the power were to go off, be cut off, run out or simply not be available in the area that you end up, you won’t want to be stuck with a great juicer machine that can’t actually make juice for you. Better to go for a hand juicer which, even though it is a little slower, will definitely work for you as long as there is someone who can turn the crank handle.
A hand juicer machine will also be more likely to be built sturdily, as no one buys an electric juicer machine expecting it to last for more than maybe an upper limit of 12 years or so, but those who buy a hand juicer are the kind of people who buy items to last. So you will be more likely to receive a kitchen tool which is high quality, study and won’t need replacement parts like some of the flimsy electric models which are available from any department store.
The best place to buy a good hand juicer is generally online, so don’t hesitate to check out what’s available… better to be prepared.
